[Standing Barbell Curl] mainly exercises the biceps, followed by the forearm muscles.
Stand naturally with your palms facing forward and your hands shoulder-width apart. Throughout the movement, your upper arms should always be close to your sides and the barbell hangs down in front of your legs.
Using the elbow joint as the fulcrum, the forearm is bent upward in a semicircle from the front of the leg to the front of the shoulder. Then, slowly lower it to the front of your legs along the original path.
When the barbell is bent, the upper arms are not allowed to move. When the barbell is lowered, the forearms should be drooping and straight.
